In 2005, Beverly broke records by scoring a perfect 100, accomplished three other times in the 107 years of the VPPA's existence.  With this Second Thoughts portrait she won: Best in Show, Best Portrait of a Child and Kodak Gallery Award for Best Portrait.
   Beverly continues to receive awards and honors with her beautiful emotionally filled portraits from her peers in professional organizations. In 2007, Virginia Professional Photographer's Association held its largest competition in their history. Only Beverly and one other photographer won blue ribbons for all of their 6 entries, Court of Honor for Digital Art Tech, Best Portrait of a Woman, Judges' Choice Award, Best Portrait of a Child Award and the coveted Kodak Gallery Award for best Portrait.
